And they can be deformed in a short time . With some processes , the life of these materials can be extended. One of them is shotpeening process.<\/p><p><br \/>Shotpeening is a cold working process in which the fatigue strength of the material is increased by creating compressive stress on the surface by spraying special materials on the surface of the part.<\/p><p>Materials generally used in shot peening are rounded cut wire, steel shot, glass beads, and ceramic beads.<\/p><p><br \/>The shot peening process is similar to the blasting process.
