What is metallization thermal spray?

Thermal spray is the spraying of the surface of the machine elements to the main material at different speeds by melting the surface of the machine elements with thermal spray systems that are better and suitable for the working environment.

Use & Application

The purpose of the application is to make the material resistant to abrasion, corrosion, cavitation, and heat.

In addition, it is used for insulation agains electrical conductivity, to give lubricity to give lubricity to the main material or to prevent the product from sticking to the material.

Termal sprey kaplamalar da parçaya fazla ısı girişi olmaz ve dolayısıyla şekil bozuklukları meydana gelmez.

As coating materials in thermal spray technology;

Carbides, ceramics, nickel and cobalt alloys, iron and stainless alloys, copper, bronze, aluminum, zinc, tin and many materials are used.

As a result of these applications, it provides an economic contribution by extending the life of the surfaces that will encounter problems in the first production of the part by covering it with a more suitable material or by covering the damaged part and putting it back into use.

The coating material or alloy and required coating thickness of the coating, which is made by metallization , by heating the coating material and transmitting it with gas flow to the surface of the part prepared for coating , should be formed according to the project performance criteria and specifications.
